Water Treatment Plant Visit

An educational field visit was organized by Rama University’s Faculty of Dental Sciences, department of Public Health Dentistry at Water Treatment Plant, Jal Kal Vibhag, Benajhabar, Kanpur scheduled on 14.07.17 for the academic curriculum activity.
The treatment involved the collection of the river water into large tanks and then the water is mixed with Alum and filtered. After that, water is disinfected by chlorination and transferred into clean storage tanks.
The visit held was under the guidance of Principal, Dr Rajashekar Sangur and Dr Jyothi.C , Head of Department (Public Health Dentistry). Dr Pubali Sinha and Dr Gaurav Pratap Singh (Post Graduate Students) visited the water treatment plant.
