Rama University Welcomes New Students with a Grand Fresher's Programme - OJAS-2K23

Rama University's Auditorium was abuzz with excitement as the institution warmly welcomed its newest members during the "OJAS-2K23" Fresher's Programme. The event, held on November 2, 2023, was a spectacular start to the academic journey for the incoming batch of B.Sc. (Agriculture) students.
The ceremonial lamp lighting by distinguished dignitaries marked the beginning of the event and set the tone for a memorable day. The B.Sc. (Agriculture) first-year students illuminated the stage with a mesmerizing Saraswati Vandana. Dr. Jasmi Manu, Principal of Nursing, Dr. Vaishali Dhingra, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management, Dr. Sonia, Principal of the Faculty of Ayurveda, and Dr. Aneeta Yadav, Dean of FASAI, added their presence and blessings to the event.
Addressing the enthusiastic students, Dr. C. S. Raghuvanshi, Chief Proctor and Dean of Academic Affairs at Rama University, shared valuable insights and motivation. Dr. Aneeta Yadav, Dean of FASAI, opened her arms to welcome the new students with warmth, like a mother embraces her child. Deans from various faculties extended their best wishes to the newcomers, emphasizing the importance of unity and knowledge-sharing within the university community.
The highlight of the event was the students' captivating performances showcasing the diverse cultural traditions from across India. Dance, music, skits, poetry, and even a ramp show were part of the program itinerary. To encourage the budding talents, prizes were awarded to participants who left a lasting impression.
At the evening's culmination, Mr. Rahul Pal received the title "Mr. Fresher," and Ms. Siya Pandey was crowned "Ms. Fresher" for OJAS 2'K23.
Dr. Kartikey Bisen, Head of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Allied Industries, delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks to the distinguished guests, student organizers, and the technical team whose unwavering support ensured the event's success. The OJAS-2K23 Fresher's Programme was a resounding success, marking the beginning of a memorable journey for Rama University's new students.
