Rama University Student Dr. Krishna Singh Achieves Global Excellence in USMLE

Rama University Medical Department student Dr. Krishna Singh has secured the first position in the world in the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) Step 2. Dr. Krishna Singh has scored 270 out of 300 in the examination, which has given her a total percentile score of 96.
The United States Medical Licensing Examination is a three-step examination program for medical licensure in the United States. Step 1 and Step 2 are taken while the student is in medical school, and Step 3 is taken after graduation. It is sponsored by the Federation of State Medical Boards and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
The USMLE is an internationally recognized examination, and individuals from various countries, including India, can apply and take the exam. The exam is taken when students want to enter the prestigious profession of medicine in the United States or want to do MD in the United States.

Sharing her preparation strategy, Dr. Krishna revealed her dedication to studying for 12 hours daily. She utilized Rama University's well-equipped library and WiFi-enabled computer labs, along with the unwavering support of professors. Originally from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Dr. Singh entered Rama University in 2018. She acknowledged the challenges of studying away from family but emphasized the invaluable support of friends and classmates.
Dr. Krishna's father, Mr. Sudhir Rawat, an engineer by profession, expressed immense pride in his daughter being the first doctor in the family. Dr. Krishna shared her lifelong dream of becoming a doctor and how her hard work and determination made it a reality. Mr. Rawat extended heartfelt gratitude to the University's officials, professors, and library team for their crucial role in his daughter's achievement without any external coaching.
