Rama University organized a Two-Day International Conference on Advances in Agriculture and Allied Science Research.

Rama University, Kanpur, in association with ‘Samgra Vikas Welfare Society’ (SVWS), Lucknow, successfully organized an ‘International Conference on Advances in Agriculture and Allied Science Research’ on 23-24 February 2019 at Auditorium, Rama University, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
The program commenced with a tribute to the honorable Founder Person, Late Babu Singh Kushwah by our esteemed Chancellor, Dr. Suraj Babu Singh Kushwah along with our Guest of Honor, Dr. S. Soloman, Vice-Chancellor, CSUA&T, Kanpur.
The keynote speaker for the occasion was Dr. Ulrich Berk, President, Five Fold Path Mission, Germany, who also inaugurated the event by the lightening of the lamp. He demonstrated agriculture techniques to encourage organic farming and shared his thoughts and research work on the subject. Furthermore, Vice Chancellor- Dr. Janardan Amarnath B.J., Director- Dr. Prateek Singh, Organizer- Bharat Tiwari, and Secretary, SVWS - Dr. Jyoti Swaroop shared their thoughts on the subject. Over 200 agricultural-scientists from Germany, Nepal, Bhutan, Nigeria. and India participated in the event and shared their research work and papers on the subject.
The chief guest- Mr.Satyadev Pachauri, Honorable minister, MSME, Handloom & Silk, Government of U. P said that the development of the entire nation is in the hands of the agriculture industry. To have sustainable agriculture, the role of agriculture scientist is crucial. To manage the rising population and ensure the availability of hygienic and high-quality produce, we all depend upon the ‘innovation’ led by the distinguished scientist of our nation in the field of agriculture.
Samgra Vikas Welfare Society honored the work of the 72 eminent scientists by conducting a reverence ceremony led by our guest- Mr.Satyadev Pachauri. The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Jyoti Swaroop and Dr. K.K Mishra Head, Dept. Of Agricultural, Rama University to the respective guest of honors and the scientist. The attendees also comprised of Ms. Kalpana-Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Kanpur, Mr. Prabhat- Registrar, Rama University, Pranav Singh-Public Relations Officer, Rama University, Mr. Sandeep Shukla- Dy. Registrar, Rama University, Dr. Ankit Tiwari,- Faculty, Agriculture department, Rama University along with the other faculty members and students of the institute. The event was well received by the audience and was a great success.
The event provided a platform to the scientists, policy makers, farmers, and other stakeholders to share their experiences and achievements in the field of Agriculture & Allied Sciences.
