Rama University Celebrates the Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the Father of the Indian Constitution

The Birth Anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was celebrated with great enthusiasm and energy at Rama University. Organized by the Faculty of Commerce and Management, the program aimed to acquaint the students with the remarkable works and reforms of Dr. Ambedkar, who was a social reformer, jurist, economist, author, orator, scholar and thinker of comparative religions. Dr. Ambedkar, also known as the Father of the Indian Constitution, served as India's first Law Minister and was the Chairman of the Drafting Committee for the new Constitution. He was a well-known statesman who fought for the rights of the Dalits and other socially backward classes.
The program was graced by the presence of dignitaries from the University, including the Dean of Academic Affairs - Dr. Hariom Sharan, Registrar - Mr. Prabhat Ranjan, Dean of Research Projects - Dr. Patil, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture & Applied Sciences - Dr. Anita Yadav, Dean of Faculty of Commerce & Management - Dr. Vaishali Dhingra, and Dean of Research and Development - Dr. Manish Dhingra, along with other faculty members.
The program began with lighting the lamp and garlanding the idols of Goddess Saraswati and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's photo. Aditi Tripathi, a student of MBA 1st Year, welcomed the guests; Followed by a short introduction to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and his contributions to society were given by Rama University's FCM and FJS students. The program was a great success, and the students gained valuable insights into the remarkable life and works of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Rama University continues to organize such events to promote the ideals of social equality and inclusion, which were championed by Dr. Ambedkar.
