A Short Term Certificate Course (30 Hours) on “Post Harvest Management of Fruits & Vegetables through value addition” was successfully conducted by the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Allied Industries, Rama University, Kanpur from 20 April 2022 to 7 May 2022. In this Certificate Course the students of undergraduate, post graduate as well Ph.D. scholars from Rama university as well as from outside of campus like from CSAUT Kanpur and ANDUAT Ayodhya also participated.
This Certificate Course was organized with the purpose to aware the participants about the importance of post-harvest management of fruits and vegetables and to aware people about the various career opportunities for developing it as an enterprise. In this Certificate Course, various value-added products of vegetables and fruits were prepared. After successfully completing this 30 hours Certificate Course program, an exhibition and a certificate felicitation ceremony of the same were organized on 11 June 2022 in the presence of honorable Dr. Pranav Singh, Director, Rama University, Dr. Hari Om Saran, Dean of Academic Affairs, Rama University, Dr. Vaishali Dhingra, Dean, Commerce and Management, Dr. Aneeta Yadav, Dean, FASAI and all faculty members. Overall it was a successful event.
