Plantation on World Earth Day Highlighted the Importance of a Healthy Environment

World Earth Day was celebrated in Rama University, following proper COVID norms. Highlighting the significance of a healthy environment Dr. Prateek Singh Kushwaha (Director, Rama University) and Dr. Sandeep Shukla (Deputy Registrar) planted trees on the University campus. About the Event:
The program showcased that Earth Day was first celebrated in America on 22 April 1970.
The purpose of this event proceeded by the Department of Agriculture was environmental protection. Further, the motivation of cleanliness and the pollution-free environment was resolved by ecological protection.
On this occasion, Faculty founders of all departments planted trees of different varieties, including Peepal, Neem, Gulmohar, Pride of India, Pomegranate, etc., on the university campus under the courtesy of the Department of Agriculture. During this time, Deputy Registrar Dr. Sandeep Shukla, Dean, Academic affairs Professor Hariom Sharan, Controller of Examinations RK Yadav, Dean, Faculty of Agriculture Dr. Anita Yadav and Dr. Shivendu Rai, Department of Professional Studies were present.
We appreciate the work of the organizers and active members who, even after the harsh pandemic situations, took initiation to save the planet and keep our home green.
