Women Shine Brightly at Rama University International Women's Day Celebration

Rama University celebrated International Women’s Day on March 8, 2023, with great enthusiasm and fervor. The event was a fitting tribute to the resilience and strength of women, who are the true architects of society. The theme for this year's celebration was "DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality," highlighting the importance of leveraging digital tools to empower women.
The program began with a warm welcome to all the radiant women of Rama University, followed by the lighting of the traditional lamp by esteemed guests Dr. Jyoti Raghav, Dr. Aneeta Yadav, Prof. Dr. Vaishali Dhingra, Dr. Soni, and Prof. Jasmi Manu. The Principal Faculty Of Nursing, Prof. Jasmi Manu, delivered the welcome note, while Prof. Dr. Vaishali Dhingra delivered a motivational speech on women empowerment.
The cultural programs presented by the students were the highlight of the event. These performances showcased the various roles played by women in society and their extraordinary contributions. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. B. Archana, Head of Department of Community Health Nursing, Faculty of Nursing, followed by the national anthem.
