Rama University welcomes new batch of students with a grand fresher’s party

Rama University, one of the largest educational groups in Northern India, hosted a spectacular fresher’s party for its new batch of students at the auditorium on 17th March 2023. The event, titled “AIKYAM-2K22-23”, was a celebration of diversity, talent and camaraderie among the students and faculty members
The event began with a lamp lighting ceremony followed by an address by Prof. (Dr.) Hari Om Sharan, Dean of Academic Affairs & Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET). He welcomed the freshers and encouraged them to pursue their academic goals with passion and dedication. He also highlighted the achievements and initiatives of Rama University in various fields such as agriculture, engineering, medicine, law, management and more.
The audience was then treated to a mesmerizing performance of Ganesh Vandana by a group of students. The cultural extravaganza continued with solo and duet dance performances, poetry recitations, singing performances, one-act plays and trio dance performances by the students. The performers showcased their creativity and skills in various genres such as classical, contemporary, folk, rap, rock and pop.
The highlight of the event was the ramp walk by the freshers who flaunted their style and confidence on stage. The judges had a tough time selecting the winners from among the contestants. Finally, Ms. Shubhangi from B.Sc (Biotechnology) was crowned as Ms. Fresher and Mr. Raja from B.Tech (C.S.) was crowned as Mr. Fresher of the new batch. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Dr. Hari Om Sharan who expressed his gratitude to all the dignitaries, faculty members, staff members and students for making the event a grand success.
The fresher’s party was a memorable experience for everyone present at Rama University. It was an opportunity for the new students to interact with their seniors and faculty members, make new friends and feel at home in their new academic environment.
