National Farmer’s Day 2022

Extension Outreach Program On the occasion of National Farmer’s Day 23rd December 2022 was organized by the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Allied Industries at Village Secretariat, Village Shadipur, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh to celebrate the birth anniversary of the fifth Prime Minister of India, Chaudhary Charan Singh, and to honor the hard work and dedication of Indian farmers, the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Allied Industries at Rama University celebrated National Farmers Day.

Dr. Aneeta Yadav, Dean, FASAI, along with all the faculty members and students of all the faculties of RAMA University.
The program was started with the arrival of Gram Pradhan, Mr. kishan Sonkar with all the villagers in village secretariat, village Shadipur, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh
The farmers of this region usually grow wheat, Mustard and some vegetable crops along with livestock. Faculty members of the department of Agricultural Sciences and Allied Industries delivered the knowledge about latest practices of Integrated Farming System and Livestock Management techniques. Students visited the farmers field and actively participated in the event. There was an open session in which the farmers interacted with the faculty members who were the expert of their concerned subject.
