Brief Day- 3 Extension outreach program report of world breastfeeding week celebration, Faculty of Nursing, Rama university
The world breastfeeding week celebration continued for the third day (03.08.22) with an Extension outreach program by the students at kukradev village focused on the rural population. A health awareness program was organized in the kukaradev community area. The people were impressed by our student's performance in skits and role play to impart knowledge to the community.
The well co-operative villagers gathered voluntarily and mothers and their family members attended the health awareness. The health education by the nursing students covered the importance of breastfeeding and how to support the breastfed mother in the family, society, etc along with role play and skit. The day was alive with the involvement of the rural families.
