A Short Term Program on Plant Tissue Culture Techniques

A short-term course on "Plant Tissue Culture Techniques," held from August 28 to September 9 of 2023 by the Department of Biotechnology at Rama University, Kanpur, just came to an end. All attendees found this event to be a life-changing learning opportunity, which was directed by the distinguished Dr. Ajay Kumar, the moderator, and Dr. Manoj Kumar Mishra, the convener, in association with recognized faculty members.
Under the guidance of experts including Dr. Vivek Srivastava, Ms. Priyanca Arora, Ms. Anamika Tiwari, Dr. Shraddha Sahu, and Dr. Samakshi Verma, the course introduced students to the intricate world of plant tissue culture. Over the ten-day program, students delved into the fundamentals of plant tissue culture techniques, acquiring practical skills through hands-on training sessions.
The course's curriculum covered a wide range of topics, such as how to make tissue culture media, how to sterilize things, and how to take care of cultured plant cells.
