Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Allied Industries at Rama University covers educational and scientific/research activities with an aim to promote science-based agricultural education and research. The comprehensive program provides students with sound knowledge in the mathematics, science and engineering science required to solve agricultural issues along with the core agricultural subjects. It also enables them to effectively identify and design sustainable solutions to address issues and global opportunities.
The agriculture degree programs at Rama University ensure successful professional careers in agro-industries, government organization, and educational/research/extension institutes. It equips the students to demonstrate strong leadership skills, ethical integrity, and professional engagement in any work settings. With a degree in Agricultural Science, students take their first step towards a rewarding career.
Goals of the department

• To develop expertise in the students with problem solving attitude and provide the training and mindset needed to tackle problems in sustainable food production and natural resource management.
• To enable students with a multidisciplinary understanding of agriculture as a whole. Students will gain philosophical, historical, sociological, political, economic, market, science, technological and multicultural perspectives on agricultural input and natural resource management; food and fiber production, food processing; nutrition; and agriculture's relationship with humanity and the environment.
• To motivate students to continue to learn new skills and knowledge.
