NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON NURSING RESEARCH: A VENTURE FOR QUALITY OUTCOME

Rama university faculty of Nursing Kanpur conducted First National Conference on “Nursing research – A venture for quality outcome” on 26th November 2016 at Rama Medical College auditorium, Kanpur. 400 delegates from various states attended the conference. Dr. Rushen Chahel honorable Vice Chancellor, Rama University Uttar Pradesh inaugurated and presided the conference. Conference started with invocation song followed by lightening the inaugural lamp by the dignitaries and the resource persons.
Dr. Sujatha, Dean & principal of Paramedical Sciences & Dr Divya Gupta, Dean of Commerce & Management were the Chief Guest for the Inaugural ceremony. All dignitaries were felicitated with floral bouquets. Scientific session was begun with unfolding the theme by Mrs. Sutha R; principal R.C.N. Resource persons were from various states of our country. Dr.Muninarayanappa Dean & principal Teerthankar Mahavir University hired the chairperson for the conference.
Mr. Anish Kumar VN, Assistant Professor Godavari College of Nursing, Maharashtra discussed on ‘’Overview of Nursing research’’. Dr. Muninarayanapppa principal TMU, MORADABAD discussed on the topic “research methodology”. Mrs. Sutha R principal Rama College of Nursing, given informative talk on “sampling and determinants of sample”. Dr. Shanthi Ida Sophia Principal, Saraswathy College of Nursing, Udaipur Rajasthan contributed her views on “effective tool construction”. Dr. Vijay Babar H.O.D, department of Biostatistics, Datta Meghe Medical University, Wardha contributed his valuable speech on “inferential Statistics” and finally Professor Rama Taneja Principal, kushbau Takare College of Nursing Bhopal M.P, taken the session on how to disseminate the Research.
Dr. Muninarayanappa chairperson of the conference summarized the sessions. All resource persons given their valuable updated knowledge on current research.
After the delicious lunch, afternoon session was continued with Paper Presentations from various colleges of Nursing, Paramedical Sciences, the faculties were presented their papers effectively.Dr. Shanthi ida Sophia and Dr. Vijay Babar were the Moderator for the Paper Presentations. Valedictory session was graced by honorable vice chancellor Dr. Rushen Chahel, Dr. R .k Srivastava Principal & Dean Rama Medical College, Mrs Shobha Nair, Finance controller, Rama Group of Institutions.
Resource persons were honored by honorable Vice-chancellor, certificates were distributed for the paper presenters and all the delegates. Conference was adjourned with vote of thanks and National Anthem.
