Apart from academics, extracurricular activities play a major role in the overall personality development of an Individual. Participation in cultural activities gives the chance to students to develop the confidence and it also equips them with the skills of organizing, management and problem solving.
The Rama University organizes cultural events and other programs throughout the year. These activities not only showcase the talent of students and faculties, but also bring Celebrities and Top Personalities to campus to share their ideas on business, politics, religion, medical cases, art and many other topics. Rama University has always tried to challenge its students to be citizens of the University and the world in the broadest possible way. Our aim is to encourage students to learn as much as they can, “The cultural life is the Heart of any civilized society and the Soul of any civilized person”.
Rama’s Cultural Events can be defined broadly, but the most specifically categories are follows:-
- Lectures and Programs
- Concerts
- Debates
- Group Discussion
- Rangoli Making
- Face Painting
- Fashion Shows
- Dances
- Singing (Solo. Duet)
- Plays and
- Star Night etc.
Rama University helps its students to show their hidden talents by encouraging them to take part in these out-of-the-classroom activities, which help students to understand the importance of critical thinking skills, time management, and academic and intellectual competence. Involvement in activities helps students mature socially by providing a setting for student interaction, relationship formation, and discussion. Working outside of the classroom with diverse groups of individuals allows for students to gain more self-confidence, autonomy, and appreciation for others differences and similarities.
