A dynamic Workshop on Entrepreneurship and Innovation as a Career Opportunity took place on September 30, 2024, in the Seminar Hall at Rama University, Kanpur. The event was organized under the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between EDC India Limited and Rama University, aimed at fostering entrepreneurial spirit among students.
The keynote speaker for the workshop, Mr. Chandan Tiwari, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of EDC India, engaged students with insights on how to turn innovative ideas into successful start-ups. Over 50 students participated enthusiastically, presenting their start up ideas and receiving guidance on securing financial and institutional support.
The workshop kicked off with an opening speech by Dr. C. S. Raghuvanshi, Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, followed by participation from dignitaries like Dr. Hari Om Sharan, Dean of Academic and Planning, Dr. Abhay Kumar Shukla, and others. The event aligned with Rama University's mission to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship, providing practical tools for students to bring their ideas to life.
This collaboration marks an important step toward empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs.
