UDDAN Law Student Club Organizes Successful Book Donation Drive

The UDDAN law Student Club, Faculty of Juridical Sciences, Rama University successfully organized a Book Donation Drive on 28th February 2025 at the Primary School in Markhara, Chaubepur, Kanpur under the direction of Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall, Dean, FJS. The initiative aimed to support underprivileged students by providing them with essential learning resources, fostering a culture of reading and education.
The primary objective of the book donation drive was to promote literacy and enhance the educational opportunities for students at the primary school by equipping them with a variety of books, including textbooks, storybooks, and other educational materials.
Activities Conducted:
- Book Collection: Prior to the event, UDDAN Student Club members collected books from university students, faculty members, and other donors. A total of 500 Educational material were gathered.
- Distribution: The Educational material were categorized according to age groups and distributed among the students.
- Interactive Sessions: The club members conducted storytelling sessions and engaged students in fun learning activities to encourage their interest in reading.
- Awareness Campaign: A brief talk was delivered on the importance of reading and education, inspiring students to make the best use of the books received.
The donation drive benefited over 150 students by enriching their learning experience. The Book Donation Drive by UDDAN Law Student Club was a resounding success. The club remains committed to organizing similar events in the future to contribute to the educational growth of students in need.
