25 Nov 2019
Rama’ University joins hand with NGOs Warsi Seva Sadan and Amin Welfare Trust to fightback HIV and spread awareness about it.
On November 16th 2019, the students of the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism presented a street play that focused on making people aware about HIV and AIDS. With the help of light hearted satire and folklores, they communicated that HIV is not an infection that spreads thorough mosquito bites, touching or eating food together. They also displayed through a small act that how exactly people get trapped under the greed of getting cheap treatment from unauthorized doctors and clinics who use same syringe multiple times. Beside this, they also enlightened the youth about the harmful side of using drugs, that too with same syringe and the dire consequences of having unprotected copulation.
Thought the message was very serious, but the way of delivering that won everybody’s heart. The students who were involved in the activities are as follows; Abhay Singh & Nishant Pal lead the entire show and beside them Ragini Singh, Kareena Charles, Vitthal Shukla, Neha Gupta, Divyanshi Sharma, Pooja Singh, Ankur Sachan, Satyam Singh, Aarti Singh, Shivam Shiv, Ayush Pandey, Sikandar Ali, Javed ansari, Nainshi Kushwaha, Arunesh Kushwaha, Nalini Singh, Nikita Katiyar, Mohit Kr. Singh, Ankur tripathi, Dileep Mishra, Kajal Yadav and Md. Almeen Ansari actively participated in entertaining and educating the audiences with their spell bounding performance.
