Free Legal Aid Society of FJS, Rama University Organizes Awareness Session on POCSO Act

On September 24, 2024, the Free Legal Aid Society of FJS, Rama University, Kanpur, conducted an impactful interactive awareness session on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act at Suresh Education Centre Inter College, Chaubepur, Kanpur. Under the direction of Dr. Praveen Kumar Mall (Dean), the session aimed to educate both students and teachers on child protection.
The event focused on two key areas:
- Differentiating between good touch and bad touch.
- Understanding proper procedures for reporting potential POCSO cases.
Innovative Educational Approach to Child Protection
Law students from the university adopted creative methods to deliver their message, including impactful presentations, a thought-provoking speech, and a compelling skit. These engaging mediums helped communicate the seriousness of the subject while ensuring active participation from the school community.
