Law Students Gained Practical Insights into Career Opportunities in the Legal Healthcare Industry.
As part of their academic curriculum, 30 BALLB/BBALLB 4th Year students visited Verda Dios Health Care Private Limited on 8th April 2025. The visit aimed to offer real-time exposure to the pharmaceutical industry's infrastructure, operations, and innovations. The visit was led under the guidance of Dr. Praveen Mall, Dean FJS, and coordinated by faculty coordinator Dr. Inderjeet Kaur, Associate Professor. The primary objectives were to understand healthcare manufacturing operations, observe the stages of production, packaging, and quality control, interact with industry professionals to explore career opportunities, and connect classroom knowledge with industry practices.
Verda Dios Health Care Pvt. Ltd. is a respected pharmaceutical firm known for producing medical supplies and maintaining high standards in quality and innovation. During the visit, students were welcomed by the HR and operations teams, who provided an overview of the company’s vision, mission, and achievements. They were then taken on a plant tour through various departments, including manufacturing units, R&D labs, packaging sections, and quality control laboratories. Live demonstrations showcased real-time processes such as tablet formulation, sterilization, and labeling.
Students gained hands-on exposure to pharmaceutical production processes, recognized the importance of hygiene, precision, and legal regulatory compliance, and observed the role of automation and teamwork in a modern manufacturing setup. The experience also highlighted various legal career paths available in R&D, quality control, marketing, and logistics.
Overall, the visit proved to be a highly valuable and enriching experience. It offered students practical learning and a deeper understanding of the healthcare manufacturing sector, effectively bridging the gap between academic theory and real-world application.
