Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh – September 12, 2024 – The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Rama University, Uttar Pradesh, marked Engineer's Day Celebration Week 2024 with a grand event honouring the birth anniversary of the legendary engineer Mokshagundam Vishweshvaraya. The celebration saw the participation of prominent dignitaries, including Dr. Janardhan Amarnath B.J., Honourable Vice-Chancellor, along with key faculty members, heads of departments, and students.
The event began with a tribute to Dr. Mokshagundam Vishweshvaraya and the university's founder, Dr. B.S. Kushwah. A ceremonial lamp-lighting ceremony, led by the dignitaries, set a reverent tone for the proceedings, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati.

The highlight of the event was an insightful address by Prof. Dr. C.S. Raghuvanshi, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, who emphasized the theme of this year’s Engineer's Day. He discussed the crucial role of engineers in nation-building and innovation.
