E-Summit 2024 at Rama University Inspires Future Entrepreneurs

Introduction
The E-Summit 2024, organized by the Faculty of Commerce and Management at Rama University, was an inspiring three-day event that provided students with opportunities to develop their entrepreneurial spirit, creative talent, and essential business skills. The summit featured an array of interactive activities such as boot camps, ideathons, talent hunts, and e-sports competitions, all aimed at preparing students for today’s dynamic business landscape. The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including Chief Guest Mr. Arun Pathak, MLC of Kanpur, who delivered an engaging keynote speech that encouraged students to pursue entrepreneurship with determination. Hon’ble Director, Rama University, Dr. Prateek Singh felicitated the Chief Guest on behalf of Rama University.
Objective of the E-Summit
The E-Summit’s main objective was to give students a platform for hands-on learning and to showcase their entrepreneurial and managerial abilities. Through competitions, workshops, and networking, the event sought to foster:

Day 1 Highlights
Boot Camp: Hosted by guest speakers Mr. Alok Pandey (CEO, iTech) and Mr. Bhuvan Bhatia (CEO, Flotaa), and Mr. Abhishek Bhadauriya, CEO & Founder Rank Keywords the boot camp offered students insights into entrepreneurship and business strategy.
Ideathon: Teams brainstormed solutions to current industry challenges, pitching innovative ideas to a panel of judges for feedback and mentorship.
Talent Hunt: Students displayed their skills in singing, dancing, and performing arts, emphasizing a well-rounded entrepreneurial skill set.
Day 2 Highlights
Boot Camp: Renowned CEOs, such as Mr. Vibhu Dixit Founder of Export Guru and AVGroups and Mr. Sanjay Katiyar (CEO, Harmony Electricals), discussed the career growth and corporate skills intricacies of entrepreneurship with the students.
Corporate Fashion Show: Students showcased their elegance and professionalism as they walked the runway in sleek corporate and business attire.
Treasure Hunt: Participants engaged in activities that underscored the importance of personal branding, teamwork, and problem-solving.
Day 3: Prize and Certificate Distribution:
Famous entrepreneurs and practitioners like Rtn. Udita Sharma, Founder CEO Uditam Tour and Travels (UTT), Mr. Vishvesh Shukla, Strategy Manager, SIIC IIT Kanpur discussed the business models with the students.
The closing ceremony celebrated the winners of the various competitions, with Suraj from MBA 1st year winning the first prize in the Ideathon. Sponsors like UTC Tour and Travels and IMS actively contributed to the event, enhancing the overall experience for attendees. Dean Academic & Planning Prof. (Dr.) Hari Om Sharan congratulated the students for their exemplary feats achieved in various national level business plan competitions.
Prof. (Dr.) Manish Dhingra, Dean Faculty of Commerce & Management delivered the vote of thanks on a note that like every year this year also E-Summit will pave way for inducing new start-ups.
