PLUS: The Faculty has created a group of students after an analysis of their aptitude and academic scores. These students are now part of a special program designed by the Faculty to make selected students trained as per industry standards.
This group is called Professional Learning Unit for Students (PLUS) which adds and extra edge to the skill development process of students
The PLUS group is working on the following key research areas:
- Quality control and quality assurance of drugs
- Preformulation studies
- Preparation of poly-herbal formulations
- Development of herbal cosmeceuticals
- Production of rose water
- Processing of aloe vera juice
- Isolation of Volatile oil like, Tulsi, lemongrass oil etc
- Laboratory safety and good laboratory practices
- Analysis of herbal drugs by HPTLC fingerprinting profiling
- Analysis by UV spectroscop
- Preparation of herbal monographs
