(Department of Biotechnology)
The department has talented students with both technical and soft skill sets. Their academic performance needs a special mention here. More than 40% final year students have a track record of 7.5 and above CGPA and remaining 60% students with consistent academic performance.
Our students actively participate in workshop, guest lectures, industrial tours and conferences, research and innovative activity and have brought many laurels to the department. They have also exhibited their leadership skills by organizing various technical and non-technical events on campus.
Placement training (technical, aptitude, logical reasoning, soft skills, Mock and group discussion etc.,) is given to students and we have leverage to offer placement-oriented courses in addition to academics. Career coordinators of the department are coordinating the training programs and campus interviews.
We wish to state that we have trained our students to meet the industry standard and enable them to start off career right after completing their course curriculum.
They have coordinated and trained our students for various on-off campuses for the past 4 years. Have motivated students and maintained the track record of highest placements. As many as 36 students have got placements in placement drive facilitated by University. Most of them have received more than 2 offer letters in placement drive.
