Knowledge and Career are two indispensable aspects of education. However, in present times the function of education has become more of career oriented rather than the comprehensive one encompassing both education and career. We at Rama University understand this evolving trend among the aspirants and have therefore employed a holistic approach that focuses on the career prospects by providing opportunities through Placement Cell along with prime functioning of imparting knowledge.
Career Advisor
Our faculty members act as career advisors to the aspirants, providing them with the right thrust to emerge as a winner in whatever field they choose. As career advisors our faculty members plays following functions:
- Discussion and feedback on career interests and concerns
- Review and support for your development towards your academic and career goals
- Evaluation and clarification regarding your goals
- Strategic planning to achieve both academic as well as career goals
- Professional advocacy: references, researches, internships and recommendation letters
Placement Cell
Rama University has a proactive Placement Cell that takes care of the placement related functions. The placement division provides guidance for choice of career and access to employers by generating opportunities for placement for the students. The placement Cell serves following functions:
- Acts as a bridge between the industry and the student community through meaningful interaction which is intellectually stimulating and brings awareness to the faculty and the students to prepare according to the changing demands of the industry
- Provides a range of services to enhance job search and career management skills in the students
