For Students
At Rama University and its allied colleges, we lay a lot of emphasis on adherence of local rules and regulations so as to avoid any kind of discrimination towards any student. During the tenure and stay at the Rama University, students are expected to practice self discipline and conduct themselves in a pleasing and graceful manner. Following are the key guidelines for the students, as issued by the university management.
The Dos:
- Uniform is compulsory.
- Punctuality in attending classes, tutorials and consistency in performance is must.
- Any changes in the address of student must be intimated by the student in writing to the University office as soon as possible.
- It is imperative that the students strictly adhere to the day of opening and closing of each term during the academic year. Attendance in the entire term is compulsory.
- The students should strictly follow the instructions given by the Vice Chancellor from time-to- time.
The Don’ts:
- The university’s code of conduct strictly prohibits discrimination of student based on any criteria as gender, caste, colour, creed, nationality or body shape.
- The university’s code of conduct strictly prohibits ragging of students in any form including psychological, mental or physical form. As per the guidelines of Ministry Of Education, anyone found indulging in ragging of students shall be immediately expelled from the university.
- Smoking, chewing of tobacco and other such elements is strictly prohibited in the University.
- In subordination and rude language or conduct is sufficient reason for the dismissal of the student.
- The students should not participate in any anti-social activities otherwise the student will be liable to expelled from the University.
- The students found guilty by an act of misconduct, either in the University or outside shall be subjected to strict disciplinary action and may be expelled from the University.
The above rules of discipline are subject to change, modification, addition, alteration and shall be modified whenever the Vice Chancellor’s deems it fit and proper.
The Vice Chancellor’s decision will be final.
