While campus placements can provide the first job at the start of the career, the alumni network can help find better jobs throughout one’s career.

Rama University’s alumni boasts over 10,000 strong ex-student members who are now playing responsible and leadership roles in various industries, both in Indian corporate and global organizations.

FORMATION

The concept of alumni association evolved for needs from both the ends, i.e. academicians and professionals, in the aim of building a bridge between college life and career life, so that the fresher graduates are made proactive to face the current challenges of competitive professional world. Both the ends shall work hand in hand to help each other for achieving the goal. The idea took shape and formation of Alumni Association turned into reality.

The Alumni Association of RAMA University Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur, was formed on 5th October 2019, named as “RAMA UNIVERSITY UTTAR PRADESH, KANPUR” in the presence of Dr. Janardana Amarnath BJ - Vice Chancellor, Dr. Prateek Singh - Director, Dr. Pranav Singh – Director, Mr. Prabhat Ranjan – Registrar, Coordinators of the Alumni Committee and many enthusiastic former students of the University.

The welcome speech for the occasion was given by Dr. Janardana Amarnath BJ - Vice Chancellor. Many of the enthusiastic ex- students were present for the formation of the Alumni meet.

“Alumni Association of RAMA University Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur” was constituted on 5th October 2019. All Alumni members were felicitated by Dr. Janardana Amarnath BJ - Vice Chancellor, Dr. Prateek Singh - Director and Dean of Respected Institutes who extended best complements for the purpose.

OUR MISSION

To re-unite in the nest from where we grew and flew off.
To build a bridge between college life and career life, so as introduce present students to the professional world and to make them proactive to face the challenges that may emerge in their career path.
To provide job opportunities to fresh bachelors through references of professionals.
To conduct orientation and training programs to students on various topics to enhance their skills.
To create awareness among students about the scope of their subject in the professional world.
To provide a platform for students to develop their qualities.
To participate in social welfare activities for social accountability.

PLAN OF ACTION

Conducting periodic meetings of the committee to chalk out plan of action.
Conducting training sessions on industry practices and professional approach by industry professionals.
Conducting personality development trainings, interview answering skills and confidence building programs.
Interacting with unemployed ex- students to find probability of employment with reference of professionals and other alumni.
Conducting social welfare activities such as blood donation, health awareness programs, tree plantation, cleanliness drive etc.
Re-unions of ex-students.
Felicitation of achievers.

CAPACITY BUILDING & PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Today’s students are the future of brighter India. Every graduate coming out of Rama University shall be a dynamic, knowledgeable and responsible citizen. Also, he/she shall stand successful in the professional world. Keeping this intention in mind, Alumni Association organizes various sessions on Personality Development and Career Guidance, in University throughout the year. The basic idea behind this program is to develop quality in the body language of students, provoke their maturity level and guide them for a right career option.

ALUMNI DAY 2018

The much-anticipated Rama University Alumni meet took place on (24/11/2018), marking an amazing celebration of achievements and nostalgia. The event gathered together former students from diverse academic fields on the university campus to reflect on their college experiences and spark beforehand connections.

The alumni meet began with a sense of anticipation, bringing individuals from various graduating batches excited to share their memories and tales of glory. The vast surroundings of the institution resonated with joy and a sense of belonging as long-lost friends reunited, recalling precious recollections.

The event showcased an array of activities and interactive sessions that encapsulated Rama University’s dedication to cultivating enduring relationships with its graduates. Alumni seized the chance to engage with current faculty members, recount their professional paths and provide valuable insights to present-day students.

The event concluded with a beautiful dinner, creating a nostalgic atmosphere that brought everyone back to their college days. The (year mention) Rama University Alumni Gathering will be remembered as a triumph, cementing the institution's enduring bond with its past students.

ALUMNI DAY

The first Alumni Association of RAMA University Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur, was formed on 5^th October 2019, named as “Alumni Association of RAMA UNIVERSITY UTTAR PRADESH, KANPUR”.

Rama University’s alumni boasts over 10,000 strong ex-student members who are now playing responsible and leadership roles in various industries, both in Indian corporate and global organizations.

The Alumni Association of RAMA University Uttar Pradesh, Kanpur has been actively involved in the various activities related to the Alumni of the University. The General activities of the Association include the following:

Creation, updating and maintenance of Rama University Alumni Database
Uploading Rama University alumni database
Updating the alumni of RAMA UNIVERSITY with the developmental activities of the University.
Assist the University for arranging talks from the alumni and other corporate sectors.
Promoting student, alumni and faculty interaction.
Involving the alumni in social activities
Building a bridge between college life and career life, so as to introduce present students to the professional world and to make them proactive to face the challenges that may emerge in their career path.
To provide guidance to the juniors
Financial Contribution is received from Alumni which will contribute in the funding of new Start Ups, Innovations & Research, which will be beneficial for development of the students as well as the University.

Over 510 enrollments were received by the Alumni from different Faculties like, Engineering, Management, Dental, Medical, Nursing, Paramedical, Mass Communication and Agriculture, for Alumni meet, 2019. Out of which 132 students attended the Alumni Meet 2019.

Vice Chancellor welcomed the gathering with his inspiring words. All the Alumni were felicitated with a memento and flowers as a token of remembrance.

Rama University Hosts Unforgettable Alumni Reunion

Rama University brought together graduates from all over continents for spectacular graduates Meet, creating a vibrant atmosphere of connection and celebration. Remembering about their college days and renewing old connections, the event drew together former students from a variety of academic disciplines to gather at the university campus.

The Alumni Meet kicked off with an air of excitement as alumni from various batches gathered to share their experiences and success stories. The university's sprawling campus buzzed with laughter and camaraderie as old friends reunited and relived cherished memories.

The event featured a range of activities and engaging sessions that captured the essence of Rama University's commitment to fostering lifelong relationships with its graduates. Alumni had the opportunity to interact with current faculty members, share their professional journeys, and offer valuable insights to current students.

Dr. Suraj B.S. Kushwah, Chancellor, Rama University, expressed his delight at the enthusiastic turnout. He emphasized the importance of alumni engagement and their role in shaping the future of the institution.
